Up For Sale Is A Lionel Prewar Standard Gauge Original 408E 0-4-4-0 Electric Locomotive IN STUNNING CONDITION
Lionel 408E 0-4-4-0 Electric Locomotive Was One Of The Largest Lionel Standard Gauge Locomotive Featuring Dual Motors, Operating Lights, Reverse Unit And Metal Wheels.
This Engine Is In Very Nice Shape  Wheels All Are In Good Shape
It runs quiet and well and pulls like a bull.
I nor others are able to tell if the loco has been repainted... sorry  not sure but it is beautiful!

Recently Serviced - BY THE MOTOR DR.  WHO SAID IT IS A BEAUTIFUL ENGINE AND RUNS WELL, but in the future may need service on the reverse unit.Been Tested - Runs!  The lights are not currently working (??) but has new bulbs.  The reverse unit is sluggish.
